Ladies might not have been able to stock up on fashion must-haves over the last few months after retailers were forced to close down during the coronavirus crisis. However, as stores begin to re-open, here are some of the top trends they may want to buy in time for the warmer months.
Most of us have had to recycle our outfits from summer 2019 during the recent heatwaves, but after stores began welcoming back customers on Monday (June 15th), women can invest in some of the season’s latest trends.
This includes broderie anglaise dresses or blouses – think embroidered patterns cut out of clothes to create a floating bohemian look. Maxi dresses are great for this trend, although those who can’t pull off super long frocks could opt for midi versions or pretty blouses instead.
According to Glamour, this summer is all about exposing our bras by wearing sheer tops or outfits that have detailing around the bust area.
With so much flesh on show over the coming months, it might be time to ditch the lockdown treats and leggings and stock up on luxury ladies underwear that are worth exhibiting.
Big, bold prints will also be all the rage, so don’t be afraid to buy something with clashing patterns and eccentric colours when you finally get to hit the shops.
“Power-prints are back in a huge way this summer, with giant florals, clashing hues, and oversized polka dots taking over this season’s runways. N.b. There’s no such things as too much, so go forth and be brave,” Glamour readers were told.
